The Crafty Moms 08/18/2013

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
We have been so busy this week with doctor appointments for the kids that I didn't get much time to craft. I did get a chance to make this cute little fall card. I bought this paper a few weeks ago and have been so excited to use it. The pumpkin paper is double side and it took me forever to decide which side to use. Finally I decide to go with the pumpkin side. The weather has been so hot here this summer that I just need to make something fall to remind me it's right around the corner. I'm not looking forward to the kids going back to school or the rain that comes in the fall just looking forward to a little cooler temperatures.
I used the Autumn Friendship Mini Stamp Set from MFP. This will make a great fall card to send a friend. This little set has such great sentiments.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Hostess for MFP Sketch with a Twist Challenge 59

Welcome to another week at SWAT!!
I can't believe summer is almost over. The kids start back to school in a few weeks. I'm so sad to see it end. I have enjoyed having them home and doing fun things together.
Here is our sketch for this week!
Twist for this week card is to use a background stamp.
Now it's time for some inspiration for the week.

I thought this stamp set would be perfect for a card for the kids to give Grandma and PawPaw after they come out to visit next time. I used the Pocket Watches for this card. Then I found some buttons that I have had forever that worked out great for this card.
Now it's time to see what Christine has created for us this week!

Hostess for MFP Sketch With a Twist Challenge 58 08/06/2013

Good Morning!
First I wanted to thank you all for the great Christmas cards last week!
We had a nice weekend around my house. Saturday my son had a swim meet and he did so good for it being his second meet. Then I got to some crafting on Sunday.

Now it's time to see our sketch for the week!
Twist for this week card is to use hexagons.
Now it's time for some inspiration for the week.

At first when I started this card I really wasn't sure what I was going to do other than how to paint the cute little fish. Then all of a sudden it just came to me and I just love how it turned out. I used water color paper to stamp my images on this week for the very first time. My stamp set that I used is Wealthy Fish and it's a sneak peak for you. Then I used the little hexagons from my border bunch to add as little rocks.
Now it's time to see what Christine has created for us this week!

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
Hope you all had a great week. My inspiration this week for one of the projects that I made for the kids for this week. My kids love Zucchini Bread and they have been begging me to make some bread. So on Tuesday I surprised them and made bread up and they had some after lunch. They all loved it.
I made a recipe card to put in their scrapbook cause the one thing that I wish that had is recipes in my Grandma's hand writing. One day I want the kids to have these recipes to pass down and the memories.

from MFP to make my recipe card.
Since my daughter broke her leg going shopping has being a little difficult. I just realized that I didn't have an wrapping paper for my niece's birthday present. So I got creative and made some.
I used a brown paper sack and cut it open before I started stamping on the bag. I used the Marsh Birds and You've Got Style for my wrapping paper. Then tied some bakers twine around the package.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Oragnize I have been doing the last few weeks

If you are looking for the click here
https://www.mythirtyone.com/angelachamness/

A few months ago I shared with you that I signed up to be a Thirty-One Consultant.  Over the last month I have been organizing my craft room in some of the items that Thirty-One sells.  I wanted to share with you some of the great things work in your craft room.  It so much nicer when our crafty things are all together and neat!
The first one I want to share with you is how I organized my stamps from Marks Finest Papers.  I used the Littles Carry-All Caddy .  It works great!!  I can put my mini sets in the front net part.
The one that I'm showing you is a retired print but be sure to check new prints we carry.

The next one I want to share is the  Your Way Rectangle and I used it to store my Close to My Heart stamp sets.  It takes up so much less room than the containers I had my stamps in before.

This is one of my favorite I'm about to share with you cause it will fit 12x12 albums and papers in it!  I was so happy to be able to put all of my Creative Memories inventory in one.
So if you are looking for something to store your 12x12 albums and paper in then the
Your Way Cube  is what you are looking for.
Since we got our puppy a few months ago having a trash can under my desk has been impossible.  So my Thirty-one upline was telling me how she uses her Mini Utility Bin as a trash can when she goes to a crop.  So I order me one and it sits on top of my desk now and I use it for my trash can.

Next on my To Do List is to put my 8 1/2x11 papers in the Fold N File. I have one all ready just got to take time to sit down and do it.
If your looking for something great to carry your Cricut or Silhouette in then
the Large Utility Tote is what you are looking for.
Here is a picture of my Cricut in one of my many totes!
This is a view from the top!
This is my favorite Large Utility Tote. My daughter loves to play soccer so they work great for a day of soccer!  Then I got a orange scarf to tie on it to match her soccer team.

The last 2 things I want to show you are one of the reason I fell in love with Thirty-One!!  I love the Organizing Pack which is a Hostess Exclusive so I had to have a party to get it.  Then I saw the Strap Wrap that I could get to match and it all works perfect for my camera!  You can also put all your camera things in the organizing pack and laptop.  I'm just so sad that the end of August is the last month to get them both.  So if you fall in love with them as much as I did let me know so we can get you set up to earn one for yourself.

Let me know if there is anything you have questions about!
Have a great day!!
