Growing In Unity Guest Designer Day #5

Hello Everyone!
Welcome back to day 5 of Growing In Unity!  I have really enjoyed this week!
Today I used Absolutely Priceless to make this fun cute little birthday card for my
niece birthday in a few weeks.

Now for my last project for the week!
I used an penny slider card for to put my hot air balloon.  I love this cloud paper that I have from We are Memory Keepers for the background.  I paper pieced the hot air balloon before I attached it to the penny for the side.

Thanks for all the sweet comments this week on my blog about my projects and for the ones yesterday about my daughter.  She is feeling a little better today.  I got a little more rest during the day yesterday but I'm so exhausted from being up all night and just worrying about her.  We go get her cast today so hopefully that will make her feel better and she can start moving around some.
I will be picking a winner on Sunday night and post our lucky winner on Monday morning.  Be sure to come back and check who our winner is for the week.
Day 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Have a great day and thanks for visiting my blog this week!

  4. Love your slider card! That cloud paper is great for the background, and the balloon stamp looks great with the paper piecing!
I hope your daughter is feeling a bit better. The cast should help her out and make things easier for both of you!

  5. What great card!! I will have to try a slider with that image - thanks for the inspiration. Good luck with the cast today. My 5 yr old is always hurting himself, so far, no trips to the ER but I'm sure its coming.
