This is one of my favorite cards that I have made in awhile.  I used the All Postal set for my card.  I went around the edges of my card and the postage stamp with Paper Edger.  I rubbed Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo Distress Stain over my card before I stamped the sentiments and words on the card.  Inside the postage stamp I add our family picture.

Be sure to head over to Mark's Finest Papers Speedy TV Sketch with a Twist to enter the challenge this week!!
You have until 9:00pm on February 25th to get your submissions entered to win. Remember you do not have to use Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamps to play but if you do your name will be entered twice.  Please remember to link your card back to us and mention SpeedyTV Sketch with a Twist and Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co in your blog post. Christmas Cards for February

Hello Everyone!!  I finally was able to get some crafting done today.  We have had a lazy day at home but it was so nice.  The kids had no school and I had the day around.  Then my little guy woke up not feeling very good but he is doing better now.

I'm so excited to say that I know have 4 Christmas Cards done for this year.  I joined a Christmas Card challenge over at MFP Speedy TV.  This month I decide to be real creative and made a Santa Hat to go on my little froggie and puppy for Christmas.  I love how they turned out.  It was so much fun to make them and know that I won't be stressing to make them come December.
For my first card I used Marks Finest Papers Fantastic Dogs and added a Santa hat that I had from a stamp set along time ago.
My second card I used Marks Finest Papers Garden Art Stamp Set for the little frog.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets!!  It was my first Marks Finest Paper stamp that I got.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my cards and it inspires you to work head on your Christmas cards :)

Have a great day!!

Celebrates Diversity Bulletin Board

I can't believe it is already February!  January was such a busy month for me.  I do the yearbook for the kids school and I also keep the bulletin boards up to date.  The first couple of weeks of this year I spent meeting my first deadline for the yearbook and then I went right into working on a new bulletin board.  I cut out the patterns on the cricut and then my daughter helped me trace out all the pieces for the kindergarten classes to cut out and I help the class make them.  Then for the 1st and 2nd graders I dropped off the patterns and paper to the teachers and coordinate what days they would all use them and then picked everything up when they were done.  I used the die cut machine at school to make all the hands to go around the board.  I was so lucky to find all this bright pretty paper in the scrap box at school.  It took me the last 3 days to get all of the board up but it is so worth it.  Today after school when I was picking up the kids it was so fun listen to the all kids talk about how cute the dolls are.
