I just love this new stamp set In Tents from MFP.  I thought it made a cute card and can't wait to use it on my son's cub scout pages!!  This is very useful stamp set!!

Hostess for MFP Sketch with a Twist Challenge 46

I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day!!  My kids and hubby got me some new shoes I had been wanting.  My son made me a jar to put a candle in at school with a cute little poem about Mom on the bag and my daughter gave me a book of poems and pictures she made in it.  We went out for Starbucks and donuts and went to the store and home so I could get some scrapbooking done.  I worked on the kids teachers albums for their end of the year gifts.  It was a great day.  Now the relaxing is over and it's time for the craziness to start.  My daughter birthday is on Wed. and she will be 10 and my son birthday is on Saturday and he will be 8.  I always say it's my Christmas in May!!

I used the new stamp set from MFP Marsh Silhouettes.   My friend AJ taught me how to use the my silhouette cameo to cut out my stamp images and I'm loving it!!  I used all craft for my card and black ink and then I had some raffia that I used my Tim Holtz distress ink on to add a little bit of color.

 I'm really happy how my card turned out this week.  I love purple and Kraft :)  I wasn't sure at first what I would do with this stamp set but after some thought I had an idea!!

Good Morning and Welcome back to another week of Sketch With A Twist!!  This weekend my son's swam in his 1st swim meet!!  Mommy so proud him!!  I can't wait to make his first Swim Team Layout!!  Then we rushed from his swim meet to go big sister soccer swim party at a different pool.  What a long day we had but it was fun.

April Christmas Cards

It seems like each month gets busy and I'm posting this at the last minute.  My daughter's teacher sent out an email this morning and we have 7 more weeks of school left.  I'm as excited as them to have some down time at home and not running as much but sad cause both of my kids have GREAT teachers this year.  We will miss them next year so much.  

Ok now for my 2 Christmas cards for the challenge I enter at Mark's Finest Papers which is to make 2 cards a month for the year. 

I was so excited to use my new things from My Creative Time that I got for my birthday with my Mark's Finest Paper Stamps!!

Good Morning!  Yesterday was a beautiful day here and I'm hoping for another one today!  

It's my birthday so we have a busy day planned tonight!

Now it's time for some inspiration for the week.

When I saw this stamp set I knew what I want to do with it.  I thought it would be so cute to put a packet of seeds in the card.  I didn't have any radish or cabbage seeds so I just put the squash in for a picture.  I used the MFP Seed Packets set for my card today. 

It makes me want to get my garden all planted and for summer to get here!!

Green is good Blog Hop!

Something recycled, something repurposed, whether it’s a milk jug turned in to a scoop, or a tin can made in to a pencil holder. Maybe your kids planted some trees to help the environment, or maybe you did. There are tons of ways to get greener in everyday life. Today we are showing off our creations to celebrate Earth Day 2013. If you’re just starting here make sure to head over to the beginning at My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’. I hear she’s giving away some goodies!

The other day I bought a big can of spaghetti sauce and thought it would be cool to reuse the can but wasn't sure till the other day.  I decide to spray paint it to match my living room and I cute out our puppy name in brown vinyl.  I'm going to use this to keep her leash and baggies for when we go walking in on my bench at our front door.  I cut the saying, her name, paw prints, and dog bones on my Silhouette.
