The Crafty Moms 06/23/13

Hello Everyone! It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
I can't believe the school year is over! My last day of work was Monday and the kids last day was Tuesday. So this week I took the week off from everything and only did fun things with the kids. We got them signed up for 2 summer reading programs at 2 different libraries, a few little hikes, picnic at the park and swimming. I was a tired Mommy last night but it was fun and nice to spend time with them and their 2 little friends I'm watching for the summer.

Now it's time for some inspiration!! I made a card for a friend and her hubby. They had to have their doggie put to sleep a few weeks ago. I had a hard time sitting down to make this card. We had to have our youngest kitty put to sleep in March so I know what they are going through. The kids are still have a rough time with miss our little Chewbacca.

I used 2 different stamp sets from MFP to create my card this week. I used Fantastic Dogs and Marsh Silhouettes. The little doggie stamp remind me of their dog.

The kids and I are going to take it to them this week with a picture I made for them. I will share it later this week on my blog so be sure to stop by and see it.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

The Crafty Moms 06/09/13

Hello Everyone! It's Angela this week with some
inspiration for you all!
I hope you all had a nice week! We are heading in to our last full week of school so things have been a little busy around our house. The kids have had field trips, splash day, and some sleepovers on top of the normal schedule we usually have. So for this week's creations I have made a few cards for the teachers at school that we are going to miss so much next year.
I used Mark's Finest Papers In My Den stamp set this week.
This stamp set is perfect guy!
My first card is for my Daughter's teacher. He is such a great teacher and we will miss him so much next year. The chair on this stamp set reminds me of the chair he brought into the classroom that he sits in to read to the students. I even found a water color pencil that almost matches his actually chair.
My next card is for my Son's teacher who helps him with his writing but has also become such a great friend to my son. I always get to hear the funny things they talked about either before or after I get off work from Mr. Coates. He is retiring this year and will be missed so much.
The last card I made for this week is for our Librarian. He has been such a great help the last four years to me with getting pictures for my yearbook project. The kids all love their library time cause he is just so nice! Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has created to share!

The Crafty Moms Column

Good Morning!
I'm very excited to share a new column that my friend AJ over at AJ Scrapbooking & Cards and I will be posting every Sunday.  One or both of us each will be posting a creation that we made during the week.

Welcome Everyone To "The Crafty Moms" Column
This column is being hosted by:
An'Jenic over at AJ Scrapbooking & Cards
Angela over at Angela's Crafty Spot
This weeks Creations:
For this week inspiration I made "Thank You" card for my new customers. I stared a new business in May. And my customer’s first order will be in this upcoming week. I wanted to show my appreciation to each customer for helping me reach my very first goal. I also include in each card a homemade digital business card.
I used the cute flower from the MFP Hum Along Stamp Set.
My inspiration this week is about how I start my day as a crafting mom. I wanted to share some information about myself as a crafting mom. And its with my morning brew. Everyone morning my Keurig coffee machine starts up exactly at 6:30. That's 30 minutes before my oldest gets up for school. I love that I can program my coffee machine. And that is one of the many ways I start my day each week.
How do you start your day? I would love to hear about it.
I use this wonderful stamp by MFP called: Oh Beans
