Pirate Party Decorations

I just wanted to share the decorations that I made for my Daughter's Pirate Birthday Party and the awesome pinata my friend made for her.  We all had a great time at the party and she told me later that night it was the best party ever!!!  I had a total of 12 kids in the house due to the lovely weather we had that day.  It had been so pretty for the last couple of weeks and of coarse it rained the day of the party.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!!

#47 HIMCR MIU Week

This week has flown by!!  I have been crafting so much this week that I haven't even had time to post my pictures of all the things I have made.  I hope to start posting them tonight but if I'm too tired they will start going up tomorrow. 

Now it's time for the challenge this week at HIMCR it is MIU Week-Father's Day Card or project about your Father.  I decide that for this challenge I would make this cute little card and box to match that I keep seeing on the Silhouette website.  It was so much fun to make!

HIMCR Challenge #46 Technique week

Hello Everyone!

This has been a very busy week at my house.  My daughter turned 9 on Monday and my son

turned 7 yesterday.  Along with their birthdays I have been trying to get the house ready for my daughter's party on Sunday.   She wanted a pirate them party.  I will post pictures of the party and her decorations later in the week so be sure to check back to see them. 

This week challenge at HIMCR is Technique week "Do Over!" Take an older card and redo it.  Change the colors, add embelishments, make it more simple, whatever.  Have Fun!!

I made my card for Valentine's Day but it was way to simple for me.  It need something else so I  chaged it this week.

After card I made it into a 4x4 card and add a piece of pink paper and embossed it and

 add some ink to the pink paper. 

I'm much happier with it now.

Mother's Day Canvas

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!  My kids and husband made me breakfast, we took some new pictures, did some shopping, and out to eat dinner.  We also planted a couple of flowers they bought me. 

I made this canvas for the kids to give their Oma for Mother's Day!  Our family all lives in IL so over the last 9 years she has become like a Mom to me and a grandma to my kids.  I don't know what I would do without her and the kids love her so much!

These are the new pictures I took of my babies yesterday.  I can't believe my baby girl will be 9 tomorrow and Friday my Little Man will be 7. 

#45 HIMCR Super Scraps Saturday

I had so much fun making my Design Team project this week!  I got to make it with one of my

 Design Team Sisters!!  AJ and I finally got to meet up and craft! 

This week is Super Scraps Satruday at HIMCR!  I decide to make a gift card holder with my scraps.

The gift card was cut from my Silhouette with black card stock scraps and I covered the front with some Congratulations scrap.  Then I stamp You Go Grad with a set of Graduations stamps I bought last year at Michael's.  Then I add a piece of white ribbon to the front.

Now it's time to check out the rest of the Design Team projects.

My first little purse made with my Silhouette

Hello Everyone!

Yesterday I was a very exciting day!  I got to go over and craft with my Design Sister AJ!!! 

  I'm so glad we live so close to each other and craft together!!   It was such a fun day.  While I was over at AJ's house I put together this little purse together that  I cut out on my Silhouette for the kids to give to their Oma for her birthday.  I didn't get a chance to get her birthday present made and ordered yet so we put an I.O.U. in it for a mouse pad with their pictures on it. 

 She was so happy to get it.
