I love the cookie box in the tutorial but I have been wanting to make this box that I found on the Silhouette store.  It was so easy to make!  So for a surprise I made my hubby and kids some cookies! I used the Recipe Card Starters and Recipe Completer Mini to make my cookie box. 

Here is a picture with my Kisses Sleeves and Cookie box together!

This would make the perfect gift to take to a family for Christmas!!  Cookies for the whole family and kiss sleeves for each of the kids!

I used one of the new stamp sets from MFP for my card. I decide it would be nice to get a start on my Christmas card with the Presents. I used my water color markers to color my image.

I'm very excited to share with you the layout I made for the hop!  I'm so behind on the kids albums but I remember having these cute pictures of my daughter grilling with Daddy!  It was so cute cause she had to have her purse with her while they were grilling! 

I used the Block Party cartridge to cut out BBQ, grill, and steak.  Then I cut out the journal tag from My Creative Time and stamp it with the Journal it stamp set.

Here is the project I created for our hop!

 Here is an up close of each ornament!  

 I created my ornaments by using the My Creative Time Stitched Doily Die for the base.  I used the MCT Stitched Mini Frame and Arrow Dies to put a frame around the picture and then I added things from  MCT Stitched Button Dies, Chunky Jar Accessories, and Just Simply Live. After I had added everything to the Doily I put a coat of  Mod Podge over everything.  I love how they turned out and can't wait to put them on my Christmas tree!!  I need to make some more of these for Christmas gifts!!

April Christmas Cards

It seems like each month gets busy and I'm posting this at the last minute.  My daughter's teacher sent out an email this morning and we have 7 more weeks of school left.  I'm as excited as them to have some down time at home and not running as much but sad cause both of my kids have GREAT teachers this year.  We will miss them next year so much.  

Ok now for my 2 Christmas cards for the challenge I enter at Mark's Finest Papers which is to make 2 cards a month for the year. 

I was so excited to use my new things from My Creative Time that I got for my birthday with my Mark's Finest Paper Stamps!!  

March Christmas Cards

I know it's April but I had a rough month in March so I was behind on my Christmas challenge that I have been doing over at Marks Finest Paper.  I think my March cards are worth the wait!!  I love them both.  I think the snowman one is my favorite of all the cards I have made this year for Christmas!

I cute out the center panel step card out on my silhouette and the banner too.   The Christmas paper was out of my scrap box.  I love love this little snowman stamp from MFP it's Know Gift 2012.

I used the Big City Stamp from MFP and added snow to the image to make it all ready for Christmas!  This was my first time using a snow marker!  

Now I need to get busy and get my April cards done :)

Christmas Cards for February

Hello Everyone!!  I finally was able to get some crafting done today.  We have had a lazy day at home but it was so nice.  The kids had no school and I had the day around.  Then my little guy woke up not feeling very good but he is doing better now. 

I'm so excited to say that I know have 4 Christmas Cards done for this year.  I joined a Christmas Card challenge over at MFP Speedy TV.  This month I decide to be real creative and made a Santa Hat to go on my little froggie and puppy for Christmas.  I love how they turned out.  It was so much fun to make them and know that I won't be stressing to make them come December.  

 For my first card I used Marks Finest Papers Fantastic Dogs and added a Santa hat that I had from a stamp set along time ago.

My second card I used Marks Finest Papers Garden Art Stamp Set for the little frog.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets!!  It was my first Marks Finest Paper stamp that I got.

 I'm so excited to share the my first 2 cards for Christmas. I will be making 2 every month for the challenge at Mark's Finest Papers.  It's so nice to get a head start on my cards for the year.  I have been doing really good staying caught up on my birthday cards for the year for friends and family. 

 

HIMCR #73 Mix It Up

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!  We had the best one ever!!   We were all so excited to have Grandma and PawPaw here to celebrate with us.  We stayed home and Grandma and me cooked dinner.  The kids helped make a pumpkin pie.  It has been a great week but sad for us today here cause we will be taking them back to the airport.  I so wish they lived closer to us.

This week at HIMCR the challenge is Mix It Up and it is Christmas theme.  I decide to go ahead and make my Christmas card for this year.  Last year was the first year in awhile that I didn't make a digital card with our family pictures on them.  I loved the cards I made but decide from now on it would be digital!  Here is the card I created with Storybook Creator 4.0

This is one of my favorite Christmas kits.  It was from last year and it is called Holidazzle!

HIMCR #56 Mix It Up!!

Good Morning! 

Well I have had another busy week with the kids!  My daughter went to Goalie Soccer Camp this week so during the mornings I got to hang out with my Little Man!  So after camp and soccer practice in the evening didn't really leave much time or engery for me to craft.  But I did get some good pictures to scrapbook this week.  I can't wait to get them printed off and scrapbook. 

Now it's time for a new Challenge at HIMCR!!

Reindeer Bookmark/Gift Card Holder

Today I felt like making something for Christmas!  I found this cute little Reindeer Bookmark/Gift Card Holder on the Silhouette store the other night.  I have been wannting to make it so bad so I made it this morning.  It was supper easy and so cute!!  I can't wait to make some more this weekend and get ahead on my Christmas list!  Hope you enjoy my cute little reindeer!
