Project Life Layouts

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
We are we had a slight change of plans so I have been crafting instead. I made these Project Life  Layouts last weekend but took me awhile to get a good picture of them. I still need some practice but these picture turned out pretty good.

I bought the pages last summer a few weeks before my daughter broke her leg and then well I never got to them.  Then back before Christmas I made one layout but got busy and didn't pick it back up.  Since the kids birthday was in May I decide that there new scrapbook for this year would be the Project  Life.  I'm happy with the way my daughter book is going so far.  I'm working on my son's this weekend.  So more picture to come later.

Here are a few of the layouts!!

The paper I used was that I got along time ago from TLC and then for the embellishments and journal tags I used my dies and stamps from My Creative Time!   I just love how MCT time dies and stamps work so well for Project  Life Layouts.

This layout I used my stamps from Marks Finest Papers..

Hope you enjoyed my layouts and I will have more to come!!

Crafty Moms 2/16/14

It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!
Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day and weekend!
I made donuts for breakfast on Friday and then heart shaped Calzone for dinner and bread sticks. Faith helped me make a heart shaped chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Then we just have been having a lazy weekend. It's been rainy and windy here the last few days.
My inspiration for this week was the little Valentine goodies I made for my son's class on Thursday. They didn't get to have a party but was able to exchange cards. So we made little tags on the Silhouette and stamped them to put on pencils.

I used MFP Calendar Stamp Set and MFP Love Love Love Stamp Set to create this cute little pencil tags.
ave a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Happy Groundhog's Day
and
Super Bowl Sunday!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
AJ and I are back with the Crafty Moms column. January was just a crazy month for the both of us so we took some time off with to spend with our families.
I'm excited to share with you my creations for this week. I made cupcakes for my hubby to take to work on Friday for Blue Friday! I thought it would be a cute for the guys to have football toppers for the cupcakes. I was excited to make them for him even though football is not my thing at all. While he is watching and screaming at the TV today I will be crafting away but hoping the Seahawks win cause if not I will have 2 unhappy guys at my house and lots of friends too.
Here are my Seahawk cupcakes!!

I used the MFP Tailgate Party Set to create my toppers. I just attached them to a toothpick with some craft glue. Very simple little project that the guys like for dessert on Friday.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

I made a gift bag to put a few last minute presents in that I just finished up this morning.

Crafty Moms 11/24/13

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
It seems more like Christmas here instead of Thanksgiving week. It has been so much colder than normal for this time of the year. I didn't get much crafting in this week for myself. I did alot of cleaning instead and had appointments for the kids. I had teacher conferences and then cleaned up the house cause Grandma and PawPaw flew in last night. So the kids have been super excited all week. I'm very excited too to have them here for the week. They have been coming out for the last 5 years for Thanksgiving and it so nice to have them here.
Well for my inspiration this week I decide to work ahead for the kids scrapbooks. I made a journal tag for the pictures that we will be taking this morning. The kids look forward to making pancakes for breakfast every year with Grandma.

I used Recipe Card Starters and Recipe Completer Mini Stamp Set to make my cute little journal box. Now I just need to print off my pictures and do a little more stamping and I will have a great page!!
I hope you enjoyed my creation for this week.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Crafty Moms 11/10/13

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
This weekend I was able to do some crafting along with finishing up cleaning our garage. The kids were very excited to go watch our local soccer team play a preseason game and see their favorite players!
This week I made some cute little mini cards. A few weeks ago I started my new job so I sub at the different schools in the kitchen. When I went to sub on Friday I meet this very nice lady and while we working she was telling me how her granddaughters are moving this weekend. So I thought when I was driving home that it would be nice to make her something little and get it to her next week. So I thought it would be nice to make her some note cards to write little message to her granddaughters when she sends them carry packages.

I made 8 cards like the 3 above and then used a piece of raffia to tie them all together for her. I used 2 different MFP stamp sets to make the cards. Birds and Trees and Garden Art.
I hope you enjoyed my creation for this week.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Crafty Moms 10-27-13

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
Hope everyone week was good!
I started my first week at my new job. I'm loving my new job!!
This week I have a treat slider I made for little Halloween treats for the kids. They turned out so cute!! I can't believe Halloween is this week already. We will be taking the kids and puppy around the neighborhood trick or treating. Last year it was pouring and they got soaked going around trick or treating. Mommy and Daddy got lucky and didn't have to go out then since their Uncle was here for Halloween. They had a blast with him even though their candy was all wet and so were they!

I used 2 different sets from MFP to make my little slider box this week. I used the new set What A Scream and then a favorite from last year Autum Splendor. I just did them simple since they will be for the kids and then I put a Kit Kat inside them.
Hope everyone has a safe Halloween and doesn't eat too much candy!!
I hope you enjoyed my creation for this week.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Crafty Moms 10/13/13

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
Welcome back to another week at Crafty Moms!
This week my son's swim team had their monthly social. We went to the local corn maze. It was alot of fun watching the kids run around to find the 6 stations. Then some of us moms went in a group to find the stations also. It was just a beautiful day for a fun night!
This week I decide it's time to start working on some Halloween treats for the kids. I saw this idea awhile ago on Pinterest. I thought it would fun to give this out to the kids and for their teachers.

I bought a big container of cheese balls at Target the other night and I already had some small clear bags. I made my topper and then stamped the cute little ghost and pumpkin from What A Scream. I paper pieced it together instead of using my markers to color the pumpkin. Then I had to get creative on the next step. I wanted it to say Pumpkin Poop so I used 2 sentiment stamps from Pumpkins and Sunflowers Mini Stamp Set I masked off the s on Pumpkins. Then I masked off the word pumpkin and just stamped the P and then same for sunflowers to use the O. I just love how this turned out and can't wait to mass them out!!
I hope you enjoyed my creation for this week.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Hello Everyone!

It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
This has been a wet rainy weekend!! Yesterday we went grocery shopping and walked around to a few stores in the rain. Then we came home and I took our puppy for a walk. Well lets say she was not too happy about the rain and decide she was ready to come home after we got a few house down the road. We just went for a short walk today. Our power flicked a few times but stayed on so I could get my card made for today.

My card for today is a Rainy Day card! So prefect for a Washington weekend!! I used MFP Rain Clouds stamp set. The umbrellas and raindrops are so cute from this set.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend!!
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
I first wanted to Thank AJ for helping me the week before last and posting for me. I just got so busy with the kids and end of the summer stuff. We are now starting to get back into a routine around our house since school started. My daughter got her cast off on Friday and has a walking boot for the next month. Then hopefully she will be good to go and can start getting back to things she likes to do.
I wanted to share with you all the birthday banner I made this week for the little neighbor girl. She turned 8 yesterday so before school on Friday we celebrate her birthday. She ask for a puppy dog banner.

I cut out the banner and the Happy 8th Birthday Alicia out on my Silhouette. Then I used the Fantastic Dogsset to stamp the banner! She loved it and it was her favorite color blue.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

The Crafty Moms 08/18/2013

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
We have been so busy this week with doctor appointments for the kids that I didn't get much time to craft. I did get a chance to make this cute little fall card. I bought this paper a few weeks ago and have been so excited to use it. The pumpkin paper is double side and it took me forever to decide which side to use. Finally I decide to go with the pumpkin side. The weather has been so hot here this summer that I just need to make something fall to remind me it's right around the corner. I'm not looking forward to the kids going back to school or the rain that comes in the fall just looking forward to a little cooler temperatures.
I used the Autumn Friendship Mini Stamp Set from MFP. This will make a great fall card to send a friend. This little set has such great sentiments.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!

Crafty Moms 08/08/13

Hello Everyone!
It's Angela this week with some inspiration for you all!!
Hope you all had a great week. My inspiration this week for one of the projects that I made for the kids for this week. My kids love Zucchini Bread and they have been begging me to make some bread. So on Tuesday I surprised them and made bread up and they had some after lunch. They all loved it.
I made a recipe card to put in their scrapbook cause the one thing that I wish that had is recipes in my Grandma's hand writing. One day I want the kids to have these recipes to pass down and the memories.

from MFP to make my recipe card.
Since my daughter broke her leg going shopping has being a little difficult. I just realized that I didn't have an wrapping paper for my niece's birthday present. So I got creative and made some.
I used a brown paper sack and cut it open before I started stamping on the bag. I used the Marsh Birds and You've Got Style for my wrapping paper. Then tied some bakers twine around the package.
Have a great week and be sure to stop back by next week to see what AJ has to share!
